Welcome to Coachman Holiday Cottage

This charming holiday cottage, was converted in 2002, into luxurious self catering accommodation. A spacious kitchen, cosy living room and two double bedrooms with comfortable iron beds, make this holiday cottage especially suited for couples wanting to escape to the countryside. The cottage is built with heavy stone walls, exposed beams and decorated to create an ambience of comfortable intimacy. It provides an ideal base for walking, touring and exploring the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and the heritage coast.

It is situated at the foot of the North Yorkshire Moors, in a peaceful but very convenient location in the village of Snainton, the winner of National Village of the year in 1998. The busy market town of Pickering is nine miles to the west, whilst the seaside town of Scarborough is nine miles to the east. Historic York is an easy drive away. Snainton has a village shop / post office, a petrol station, doctors surgery, two pubs within walking distance and an excellent children's play area. There is a lovely drive through wooded valleys from Snainton to Scarborough along Troutsdale, giving access to walks beside the River Derwent and forest paths.
